Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These terms apply to bookings with Golden Hour Booth NY (“Golden Hour,” “we,” “us”), a photo booth rental business based in Peekskill, NY, and to your use of goldenhourboothny.com. Your signed rental agreement for your event may include more detail, and if it differs from this page, the agreement controls.
Booking
Submitting a form on our website is a request, not a confirmed booking. We check each date by hand, and your date is held only once we confirm it by email and receive your deposit. Packages, add-ons and prices are listed on our website and may change for future bookings, but the price we confirm to you is the price for your event. Sales tax may apply.
$150 deposit
A $150 deposit holds your date, and it counts toward your total. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel more than 14 days before your event. If you cancel within 14 days of your event, it is non-refundable, because we will have turned away other bookings for that date.
Balance and payment
The remaining balance is due on or before your event date. If the balance is not paid, we may decline to set up the booth.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- To cancel, notify us in writing (email is fine). The date we receive your notice sets the deposit refund described above.
- You may reschedule your event one time, with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to availability of the new date. Your deposit carries over to the new date.
- If we must cancel for a reason within our control, we will refund everything you have paid.
Your responsibilities
- Provide a safe, level indoor or sheltered space and access to a standard power outlet near the booth, and tell us about any venue rules or access limits ahead of time.
- Keep food and drinks away from the equipment, and make sure guests treat the booth and props with care.
- You are responsible for the reasonable cost to repair or replace equipment or props that are damaged, lost or stolen by you or your guests, other than normal wear and tear.
- Our attendant may pause the booth if guests act unsafely or if conditions, such as bad weather, could harm people or equipment.
Liability
We bring professional equipment and take care to keep it working, and we will do our best to fix any problem quickly. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Golden Hour’s total responsibility for any claim connected to your booking is limited to the amount you actually paid us, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Guests use the booth and props at their own risk. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, power outages, road closures, illness or government orders; in that case we will first try to reschedule. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under New York law.
Photos
You and your guests may use your event photos for personal, non-commercial purposes. Unless you opt out in writing, we may use a selection of event photos on our website, social media and marketing. We never sell your photos.
Website use
The content on this site, including our logo, text and photos, belongs to Golden Hour Booth NY or is used with permission. Please do not copy it without our permission. We work to keep the site accurate, but we provide it as is.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
