Golden Hour Booth NY (“Golden Hour,” “we,” “us”) is a photo booth rental business based in Peekskill, NY. This policy explains what information we collect through goldenhourboothny.com, mainly through our booking forms, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you submit a booking or date-check form, we collect what you type into it:
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Event details: event date and start time, event type, venue name and town, guest count, the package and add-ons you choose, your estimated total, and any notes or message you write.
- Promo codes: any promo code you enter, so we can apply the correct discount.
We do not collect or store your payment card details. The $150 deposit is paid through Stripe on Stripe’s own secure page, and Stripe handles your card information under its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and check whether your date is available.
- To prepare your quote, agreement and invoice, and to confirm your booking.
- To apply promo codes and calculate your total.
- To contact you about your event, including setup details, scheduling, and follow-up after the event.
- To keep records of our business and meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Who can see it
Your form submission is delivered to our business email. We use trusted service providers to run the business, such as our form and email delivery services, Stripe for payments, and our booking and invoicing software. They only receive the information needed to do their job. Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log basic technical data such as IP address when you visit. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. If you accept, we use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and which websites send visitors to us). It uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. We have IP anonymization turned on. If you decline, we do not load Google Analytics. Your choice is saved in your browser, and you can clear it by clearing your site data. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
Event photos
Photos taken at your event are covered by your rental agreement, including how long we keep them and whether we may use them for promotion.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet business, legal and tax requirements, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@goldenhourboothny.com. We may need to keep certain records when the law requires.
Children
Our website is meant for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
